No matter where you are, you are always a bit on your own, on a journey. In a journey you learn a lot .When the journey is by train, then it really gives an insight into life. While each of these journeys has its set of benefits, but a journey by train is more relished; I had the occasion to travel to a place named by a local train to Ambassa headquarters of district of Dhalai in Tripura state recently. There are few trains. But communication infrastructure is coming up in the North East fast pace ever since the advent of the Modi government in power. Trains are becoming the lifeline of Tripura as it has been bereft of connectivity with mainstream land.
People from all strata of life were huddled together in their journey to various destinations .Everyone was on their own journey. At every station some people detrained and some new passengers joined their journey. With the advent of mobile phones things aren't the same anymore. Previously people used to interact with fellow passengers during journeys more, but now hardly few people take pleasure in animated conversation. Most of them remain confined to their shells and often found fiddling with phones.
Some long tunnels and bridges were on the way and that added to the luster of journey. The view of the mountains, valleys and the lush greenery along the way was a memorable spectacle to savour for life. I felt like being a part of the heavenly paradise of nature. The weather conditions were exceedingly pleasant during the course of the journey. Some of the fellow passengers kept to themselves and were quiet. A few soon entered into an animated conversation with their fellow passengers. This type of journey presents a learning experience.
