SHERSHAH,movie review

 Movie review of SHERSHAH

The film Shershaah is an epic story of PVC awardee brave Indian soldier - Capt. Vikram Batra, who shot to fame and became a household name during the Kargil War in 1999. His indomitable spirit and his unflinching courage in chasing the Pakistani soldiers out of the Indian territory contributed immensely to India finally winning the Kargil War in 1999.

The writers have simply stuck to the facts and  the reality of the hero, the character of his  personal life and other professional life. The dialogues have been written in a manner where a viewer would flow into it as a spectator watching two real lives and how they converge.

Shiv Pandit, he is an incredibly talented actor and it was a feast to watch him on screen. The role of Jimmy just slipped into him, each scene he was in was a thrill to watch.

Siddharth Malhotra has breathed the person into his character. It was a surprise to watch him, and after watching a few minutes  it felt like he was the character and not the actor. He has portrayed all his scenes very well and war scenes come alive.

Kiara Advani shines in her role and the scene where she had a confrontation with her father ,that scene  conveys much about her talent. All other characters  fit perfectly in the big picture.

Even the war scenes have been very well executed and . The director has  portrayed war better than a lot of others who have tried,  but the family and character scenes were also nicely done.

Music of the movie deserves an applause. From the background score to the main theme songs they were all beautifully crafted and sung by very talented singers.

The camera work is amazing and lush valleys of India Pakistan border are shown so effectively. The war episodes are decent and create a good impact.

The whole movie is a must watch.
